The procedure takes place with daily hospitalization and includes:
- Consultation and examination of a transplantologist
- Blood tests

- Thawing cord blood in a water bath at 37 degrees
- washing the cord blood to remove cryoprotective substances, especially dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), as well as erythrocyte residues and hemoglobin
