Our son Hussein is 8 years old. We live in Baku.
In July 2022, Hussein underwent a transplantation of his own stem cells to correct childhood autism at the Mardaleishvili Medical Centre in Georgia.
He changed a lot for the better ever since. The first results became evident in 2 weeks after the procedure. Hyperactivity has disappeared, he has become more diligent, attentive, and sits in class for 1 hour and 15 minutes. He willingly works with a psychologist and speech therapist. Thinking has improved. Hussein began to comprehend spoken speech better — he could understand the meaning of 10 words earlier, but perceives 40% of such speech now.
It became possible to visit public places (cafés, playgrounds, shops) with him. He quietly behaves himself during flights, calmly stands in lines and does not leave his parents, while before used to run away all the time. Hussein began to understand the meaning of the phrase “you must not.”
Hussein’s stereotypical movements completely vanished, sounds and syllables appeared, and his sleep improved.
We believe that our son’s general condition has improved by 30-40% since the procedure.
In October 2023, Hussein underwent a repeat procedure at the Mardaleishvili Medical Centre. We are grateful to the doctors of the clinic and hope for further progress.
