I want to thank all the medical staff of the Mardaleishvili clinic, in which on 6 June 2019 we received stem cell transplantation. My daughter is 6 years old and at the age of 3 we were diagnosed with autism.
On February 19, 2021, my 10-year-old son Ivan underwent transplantation of own stem cells in Georgia, at the Mardaleishvili Medical Center. We’ve gone through a lot of rehabilitations and procedures before. Ivan was diagnosed with atypical autism at the age of 4 in Varna (Bulgaria). When he was 7 years old, we moved to Moscow and the signs of autism showed up even more, the child became aggressive and uncontrollable. None of the therapies helped. Later, I learned from an Israeli friend that her son had passed through transplantation of own stem cells with excellent results. She told me that only Georgia and the United States adopted the WHO protocol. Her lawyer checked 8 clinics around the world and chose the Mardaleishvili Medical Center. Her son received transplantation of stem cell from umbilical cord blood, and the Israel Cord Blood Bank only works with certified blood banks – this is exactly what they have in Georgia. I had no illusions, for me the most important thing was to calm the child a little, so that aggression and auto-aggression would pass. The operation went well, the very next day after transplantation, oddly enough, the child was able to address me with an interrogative sentence of three words, which was not the case before. To date, Ivan’s sleep has improved, aggression and self-aggression have passed, but still, sometimes he bites his hand. Ivan has become calmer, now we can go shopping together, walk together, before this was a problem. I hear only pleasant words from experts. Previously, Ivan was dependent on the phone and the Internet, but now he is engaged in a theater group. The most important thing that makes me happy is the improvement in speech understanding. Ivan began to understand absolutely everything that I say and became very attentive, in most cases, it is possible to agree with him. He makes more eye contact and the hyperactivity has decreased. There are many little things that I cannot describe. Definitely, Ivan has changed for the better in many ways. The good news is that we still have time to get even more results, as only 6 months have passed since the transplantation.
